Are the 'Smart' Kids Really That Smart
Limited Capacity seats available

Growing up we all knew who the ‘smart’ kids were.  They were the ones praised for getting 10/10 and inevitably always answering every question correctly. But what does praising students for getting something correct say to students about what is important?  Are we fixating purely on student performance and shying away from encouraging them to take risks and make mistakes? In this session we will look at how you can develop the skills to encourage a growth mindset in yourself and your students so that you can:

  • Motivate and inspire students to reach their highest academic potential
  • Explore strategies for improving student achievement and success
