Makerspace and Capturing Learning in Real Time
Limited Capacity seats available

Our digital tools are powerful but cannot replace hands on learning.
What is a Makerspace?
How does it work?
What is iTime or Genius Hour?
How can you become a better inquiry teacher?
How can this cater to individualized instruction?

In this workshop you will learn about how you can include maker opportunities into your own classroom.

You will learn to apply ‘Split-Screen Learning Intentions’ as you experience a making activity in which you will document your personal learning process in real-time. Please bring a gadget (tablet, handphone or laptop) for taking photos/video of your learning.

Come and make a simple electric robot suitable for Grade 1 students or older that you can keep! We will make it from recycled materials. Come along and become a student in this unique learning experience.
